I'll say it again, buy it.

I am a huge John Petrucci fan, and in order to play his style of licks and riffs, you need a heavy gauge plectrum that has rounded edges for maximum attack and comfort. You could use flow picks too, but these are just easier to handle for me personally, especially if you're using 0.9 gauge strings in standard tuining, or maybe half step-down, for heavier gauge strings you might wanna try something else perhaps, but generally, these picks just get it done. Jazz 3's are amaing.

This pick is magic, I love it. This has become my go to pick for my Fender American Elite Stratocaster. Unlike other normal sized picks, these don't keep hitting your pickups all the time. These are sturdy and last much longer than regular picks. And because they are bright red in colour it's easier to spot them if they fall.

Stop procrastinating and go practice. You don't need more guitar pics and you sure as hell don't need to read reviews
