Wouldn't buy again
Return window is closed or else I'd be returning this. It needs an attachment to be used with my mixer, which should be printed clearly. Minimal instructions (for a flake grinder, which I dont think this is). Came already assembled and a little dirty so I'm wondering if mine was a returned one. Conflicting information on the instructions versus this page about whether it can handle corn. Save your money and buy one from a different company.

Versatile!
This is a great mill. I had one just like it over ten years ago and lost it in a move. I have an electric mill as well, but love that I can crack my grain or mill it coarsely again. I’m excited to have it back!

Works great!
Bought this for my Bosch, and I LOVE that I can grind my own wheat without buying another appliance. You do have to buy the adaptor, but it’s so worth it. You’re cupboard space will thank me later.

Great lightweight grain mill
I have had my Family Grain Mill for over 15 years. I love this grain mill for everyday use and for camping. I have the motor for at home use, and the hand mill attachment for when we are camping or the power is out. This is easy to clean, lightweight, and easy to use. You can grind fine flour or just cracked grain. We have used this for grinding soft and hard wheat, Kamut, oat groats, triticale, barley, rice, coffee and other grains. If you want to grind beans, there is a different auger that must be purchased separately. This will not give you that super fine flour from the grocery store because when you grind your own grains, you still have the bran or exterior of the grain in your flour. When I need a finer flour, I sift it through a fine mesh sieve. But we have been eating whole grains for so long, that we no longer bother doing that.
