From the Manufacturer The only LED bulb made for chandelier and decorative lighting. Behaves exactly like the Edison incandescent in look and feel. Same brightness and warmth. But uses only 5W to replace 25W, saves you 80% energy cost. Finally a LED light bulb that can replace the incandescent.

Buzzes on dimmers.
The light is not bad for low light demands, but even 3 of these bulbs at 270 lumens each aren't enough to illuminate a small room adequately. Also, trying these bulbs on various dimmers, including ones designed for LED dimming, they produced an audible buzz. Also, with the 3000k color temperature, as opposed to 2700k, you don't get that warm tone, especially considering such dim illumination from these bulbs. 5 watts for 270 lumens (54 lumens per watt) also means that due to the inefficiency, they run hotter than more efficient LED bulbs.Overall, the LE 5W Dimmable C37 E12 LED Candle Bulb, 40W Incandescent Bulb Equivalent, 430lm, High End Nicha LED, UL Listed, Warm White, LED Light Bulbs looks to be much more promising.

Whiter light than the incandencent bulbs they replace, but just fine
I replaced the incandescent bulbs from my breakfast chandelier with these. Because of the cost, I bought one first to try it - it was slightly brighter, and also somewhat whiter than the old bulbbs. I realized that the bulb wasn't bad, but the light was different than the incandescent bulbs. Incandescent bulbs tend to dim over time, and I suspect this was a part of the issue.I decided to try a full set in the light anyways - and it's fine. The LEDs in each bulb are not noticeable, except that the mettalic bulb center gives a nice sparkle of reflection. I'm looking forward to the energy savings.

Poor Build Quality, Light Color Too Blue
I, like many others, have been searching for a high quality LED replacement bulb. I have tried many different brands and after trying this bulb it too can be added to the long list of LED bulbs "not ready for prime time". While the manufacturer claims the color of the light is warm white (2700K) I found it to contain too much blue spectrum. The color does not match up, nor is it even close to the expected warm white of a incandescent bulb. In addition to not living up its claim of warm white (2700K) the bulb literally fell apart during install. As I screwed the bulb into the light fixture the base separated exposing the wires. So back to the manufacturer it goes and on with my search I continue.

expensive but worth it
I love Himalayan salt lamps and if you have one, you know that you need at least a 40 or even 60 watt bulb to have it project a nice glow. This allows me to keep them on all day and use only 5 watts. The brightness that these bulbs give off is very comparable to an incandescent bulb as is the color scale. I'm impressed. It's expensive, but the money up front will be worth it if you ever plan to go solar...5 watts for very respectable light is pretty sweet.
