Solid card
I put this in a Gigabyte x570 Xtreme motherboard running Windows 11 Pro. No issues. Charges my phone pretty quick, transfers data with high speeds from from my phone and external M.2 SSD.

Great USB-C PCIe Card
Purchased this for an HP Z8 workstation. I had read that some cards have the port connectors located too close to the frame so once inserted you can't fully plug the USB-C cables in, but that is not the case with this card. It was easy to install and works well for all the USB-C devices we needed to plug in.

So much USB bandwidth
Featuring two host controllers, this is a fantastic way to extend your USB capacity if you're running into limitations. The second host controller is going to allow you to connect more devices and maintain higher bandwidth throughput for those devices and most USB cards.

Great way to modernize any desktop
I plugged this card into a 5 year old desktop (MSI X99 SLI PLUS with Intel Core i7-5960X) and it works flawlessly, using both Ubuntu and Windows 10.Main downside: The card is pretty expensive. $130 seems like too much for a few ports. However, there is a lot to like:- The USB ports are actually faster than my old onboard Type-A. Oculus Link works perfectly. Using a Samsung T5 external SSD I am seeing read rates of 554 MB/s (which is probably limited by the SSD).- I was a bit worried about the ports being so far to the side (as opposed to centered). This is an odd design choice, but luckily it hasn't been a problem for any of the cables I have. They all fit well.- A nice surprise: The description claims "up to 7.5W power per port". I have actually measured 5V/3A on a single port, so the card over-delivers here.- This card embraces modern ports and instead of adding more legacy ports (which I have more than enough of anyway, especially given that all of my peripherals have been Type-C for years now). Given how even brand-new motherboards usually just come with just a single Type-C (but plenty of Type-A), that is really nice.

Works well, but USB cables slip out of the ports easily.
Pros:I was pleased the card worked in my Classic Mac Pro 5,1 and updated it to USB 3.2. It works as intended. Dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers are a plus to this card. Data transfers are certainly faster with this useful upgrade.Cons:My only complaint is that male USB-C cables that plug into the card slide out very easily. I use all 4 ports with long cables. I have had to bind the cables together and wind them upwards up and over the top of Mac Pro case to prevent the weight of the cables from pulling out of the card in the back. It's rather annoying and sort of makes my Mac look a bit junky, but it solves the problem.

Seamless and perfect - and fast, too
This thing installed without a hitch; no driver disk was required since its chipset is very standard: Windows 10 recognized everything and set it up completely transparently. I tested it by upgrading an iPhone 12's firmware with it (several Gb) and it worked perfectly.

Does NOT work with El Capitan
This has great reviews from other MacPro Classic owners ... but hidden in the small paperwork somewhere it does state that it is not compatible with Apple Mac OS El Capitan. If that is the OS you are stuck with (as am I due to the need for a fax modem) then be aware. Manufacturer says it is an OS issue. I tried it, they are correct ... it don't work !
