Well built, great jaws
Watched a great video review on u toob and was sold on this vice. Glad I did, I like it a lot.

Drill press vice
This vice is built like a TANK, which is kinda surprising considering its overall “size” is moderate at best. However it goes to show that SIZE isn’t everything!!! If you’re looking for a well-built drill press vice that is easy to adjust & use with great features (like jaw features that can accommodate circular pipe) and the likelihood that it willlast a LONG, LONG time, than do not delay on this one!!

Wow! Really nice!
Usually, machine tools and accessories made in India are primitive garbage. Not this Groz. Wow, very impressive! It works great! It's very well finished too. I put it on my granite surface plate and measured better than 0.001" parallelism between the bottom surface of the vise and the sliding surface on top. It's very flat! This vise is very well worth having. It's plenty good enough for a drill press.

Excellent quality vise
I’m an old fart and remember American quality in the old days (my drill press is an 85 year old 17 inch Delta ) and am very cautious and critical when it comes to casting and machining quality these days with wham bam and out the door production practices. This vise is not one of those items-if it fits you needs BUY IT! It’s milling and casting is excellent, movement is smooth and built in India-great job guys.

Best drill press vise and I've tried them all!
Wow I was really impressed. Everything about this vise is correct. It has a linear handle so your struggling with T handle hitting the bed. The bed is fully ground right up to the fixed jaw, so you can actually use parallels, unlike Wilton and many other inferior brands. The screw is really unique, the bearing turns and the worm screw doesn't, this makes for a very stable travel. Another feature I like most us that the Jaws are ledged at the top, so you can grab a piece just by its bottom edge, with no need to use parallels! The ground surfaces on this thing are 10 times better than wilton and others. The Jaws have V grooves for round stock. But these V grooves are of much better quality. I will be looking for more vises from this brand, incredible value for the quality which is on a machinist level.

Precision machined vise
This vise is well machined for the price point. This precision affords ease of use when clamping wood or metal parts. The bolt ears are machined parallel to the base which eliminates the vise from shifting when bolting into position on a drill press bed. I especially like the jaw lead screw being covered and protected from debris. I can usually close and tighten the jaws by hand without a lever pin- this attests to the quality of machining of the lead screw. Very good value for the price.

Where has this been all my life?
This vise is the best tool ever. I'll use it at the drill press, then take it to the bench to do some filing. I'll even clamp it into another bench vise and use it in an upright position when sanding knife handles.
