Parker Jotter Red Ballpoint Pen - 78033-RD

The pen arrived in Parker packaging on time and in good condition. It is lighter than the old Parker Pens and the quality is lesser, however it functions perfectly and has a very satisfying click. The clip is also very tight. Mine came with blue ink which writes well and was interchangeable with Parker refills. The red barrel is completely plastic and the spring is free-floating inside so there is a chance of it coming out if you are not careful. The metal is also thinner but still has a nice weight in your hand. Exactly what I wanted, a pen that would still look and feel good while writing but that I wouldn't be scared of losing like my classic Parkers. All in all a good pen I would purchase again.

I have used these for years. Quality at a reasonable price. I won't use anything else. No blobs and blotches on paper. No cap to go missing. Nice looking and lots of great color selections. I will continue to purchase these as needed. I do not like the EXTRA gel refills that they SOMETIMES include with these pens. I prefer the regular ball point ink which enables a much finer, more precise line of writing. The gel spreads and looks messy...no fine control. (Just my preference. I write small.) This came with ball point ink already in the barrel. These pens are the best! (Some people seem to receive this with black ink and some with blue...mine was black...but it definitely won't be red, just in case you weren't sure; but you CAN buy red ink refills, if that's what you are looking for.)

If you've never had a Parker Jotter, buy one now. It writes smoothly, doesn't skip, and a cartridge lasts for a very long time. Looks great, too. I have 7 of them in assorted colors. They seem to last forever.

This is a great everyday pen. It was a great pen decades ago and it's still a great pen. Of course there's been advances in pens but I prefer the old fashioned ballpoint.

I had an old Parker pen that I had had for probably 20 years or more and it was always my favorite! Finally, it needed to be replaced and I had not been able to find one just like it till now! I am so happy to have a new one--it writes so smoothly and I am very happy with it. The barrel color is red and silver with medium point and black ink. Perfect!

I was super excited to receive this pen, since I'm kind of an office supply junkie. I've tried out many pen styles, but have found that I like ballpoint pens with very dark ink that write smoothly and feel comfortable to hold. This pen is very sturdy and well made, but the body of the pen is sooo small. It just doesn't feel comfortable for holding and writing with. I'm a student and journaler, so I write A LOT. I just don't see myself being able to use this pen for any long writing projects. Besides that, I gave this product one star because it ran out of ink within about 2 weeks of use (with only light writing). I would expect a free, cheap pen that I picked up at a booth to only work for two weeks, but not a pen I paid $8 for. I'm pretty disappointed in this, especially given all the hype around this pen.

Not like the original from 20 years ago. This one is much thinner, the plastic is cheaply made. The top of the clicker is just round and lacks the beautiful original Parker branding. I was hoping to recreate my school days but this was a little disappointing. Still a decent pen

All American Jotter. First thing you'll need is a refill replacement as the stock is no better than a free pen from the hotel, but after that, class looks and feel make it a go to.
