Excellent Tea at a very reasonable cost
Not the best Darjeeling, but at this price it cannot be bettered. To get the very best Darjeeling will cost you twice this much. This is, in our opinion, is an excellent every day tea.

Well, it's an improvement over an English Breakfast tea bought at same time
This listing contains a lot of different teas, and I am reviewing the Daily Assam Summer Black Tea, 454 grams.I used Yorkshire Tea bags for years, but want to switch to loose, as creates less waste: tea bags contain plastic, so cannot be composted whole. I am not a tea connoiseur, I just want a decent strength cuppa..I bought this and T2 English Breakfast loose tea, which is horrible, very weak and poor quality. Buying this larger amount works out a bit cheaper per 100 gram than the English Breakfast, and while I would not call this a premium rate tea, it's got decent flavour and strength. I would not exactly call it "strong, malty and rich" either, but it's drinkable, if you use enough.Leaves are a decent size, you can see actual leaves, not the crumbs of the English Breakfast, and while this does contain some stalks or woody bits, not nearly as much. 3rd pic is magnified x 2.Using 2 heaped teaspoons per cup (and maybe at least one for the pot if you're making a larger amount) and brewing for about 4 - 5 minutes gives me a tea approaching the strength of 1 red Yorkshire Tea bag per cup. But definitely not stronger or better flavour than good tea bags, even the pyramid shaped ones give a comparable (and slightly stronger) tea. So it's not "builder's tea" at that amount, but a medium strong tea, and flavour I rated 4 stars - it's decent for this price, but could be better.I drink tea quite strong, but not really strong, with milk, not loads, but more than a splash, and no sugar. This would also work black, maybe better than with milk, due to seeming on mild side for an Assam. If I can find nothing better, I might buy this again, but am hoping to find something that's better than tea bags, without paying the earth.I wish I had bought loose Yorkshire Gold - similar price at £9.99 for 250 grams, and I suspect, gives a stronger and more flavourful brew.. if that proves to be the case, I won't be buying this again. I will likely mix this with a stronger tea, to use it up.Bear in mind, too, that this is quite a big bag (454 gram), so if like me, you're not hugely impressed, you'll be drinking this for a while, unless you consume a LOT of tea.Now having bought 2 loose teas, I am a bit more convinced by Yorkshire Tea's claim to blend the finest teas for their bags. I imagine cost is also a factor, but maybe the sort of tea a lot of people drink in UK is not actually what you normally get from any single type (like Assam) tea, but requires a blend for strength and flavour?

I'm hooked on this now.
The first time I tried this, I used the recommended 1 tsp in a mug of warm almond milk. It was a bit overwhelming and gritty, so the second time I made sure it was a flat/level teaspoon (and not a heaping teaspoon), and it was much nicer. The third time I added it to the almond milk when I was heating it in the saucepan, and stirred it with a whisk. I also added just a drop of maple syrup (less than half a teaspoon). For me, that did the trick. Now I'm hooked on this as both a morning and evening drink. I tried another brand (that came in sachets) which tasted absolutely disgusting and artificial. This Vahdam powder tastes WAY better and is way more value for money. I will definitely buy more.

Comforting drink
The media could not be loaded. I like the zip lock bag although it can get messy when you are nearing to the bottom and have only few spoons left.It has a beautiful colour and great taste. Nice quality.I know the whole matcha ceremony prep and the utensils used but I usually go very modern way slaughtering the beautiful tradition and zen - I put a teaspoon in with hot water and cold coconut milk and spoon of honey and blend in vitamix for a few seconds so it’s nice and frothy.Creating matcha cappuccino style.

Sadly this is too sweet! I doubt it will help me to sleep.
I can’t drink this! It’s too sweet! Honestly, I don't take turmeric because it's delicious taste, I take it because it is very healthy and reduces inflammation - I don't have troubles with it, I am in my 50's . I just want to stay as healthy as possible, for as long as possible and that is more attainable with a healthy lifestyle.I liked the combination with ashwagnandha, and I was planning to take it in the niigth before sleep. Sadly that amount of sugar probably will kill all the health benefits, and won't help me to sleep - I am not a sweet tooth as you can see. - I will go back to prepare turmeric myself, with ginger, clove and coconut milk, and a bit of honey ..I was trying to save some time.By the way I am not expert in health, I love Yoga & Ayurveda a lot, and I just know that sugar is best friends with lots of diseases and I am reducing it. But if you love super sweet drinks this is for you,I will check if I can send it back (but it is open, that is why I know it is so sweet)

Too much plastic packing
It is nice loose leaf green tea but the amount of packaging is way over the top. Just a bag of leaves in one box would suffice.
