mens Rb3183 Rectangular Sunglasses

Hard to find style. This is my 4th pair. Love the quality and the lightweight design. Great value for the money.

These are stylish glasses. They feel a little more fragile than most Ray Bans, but this should be expected for a minimal build. They are made in China, but after some research I found Ray Ban has plants in Italy and China. There is absolutely no reason to believe these are knockoffs like some reviewers claim. The construction quality screams Ray Ban. The big question is, are these glasses worth $80-100? I'd say probably not (I bought these off a gift card after I broke my Sundogs). I don't believe any sunglasses are worth more than $25 Having the brand Ray Ban etched on to them will undoubtedly drive up the price, however I will say, compared to the previously owned Sundogs Lasers (~$50, also excellent glasses & renowned brand), the Ray Bans have a metal frame, better quality lens, and spring hinged frame which make them feel a but more sturdy and functional. Not to mention, these glasses look a little sleeker.

ultimately I have returned these glasses but I have no doubt about they're being a 5 star set. The spring hinges are nice, the glass is top notch and the look is awesome. Unfortunately I have a large head ( US 7 3/4 hat size) and in conjunction with the shape of my face I could not find a way to seat these glasses and have them block the desired amount of light from the top without having the bottom of the glass make contact with my cheeks. pretty much full coverage with pretty much any other face shape shouldn't be a problem but I am very saddened that this style just doesn't work for me. Despite this I did wear them for a couple of days (adjusted several times) and found them to be super comfortable and I think the vast majority of people will be quite happy with these.

These sunglasses are amazingly confortable and light. They fit right in and the polarization works well. I read once that some polarizations prevent you from looking at phone screens or PC monitors, but I'm writing this from my PC while checking my Galaxy S3 and they seem to be an overreaction. See, when looking at my monitor, everything's fine, albeit a bit darker, of course. When looking at my phone, I can see lines of red, green and blue, meaning that the AMOLED screen doesn't play nice with the polarizing. Does it make the phone unmanageable? Not at all. I wouldn't watch a video with the glasses on, but chat, Facebook and that kind of thing are still doable. I give this four stars because the publication says they are Made in Italy, while they are actually Made in China. This does not mean that they are fake, since Ray Ban DOES manufacture its glasses in Italy. I do question, however, the quality of the Made in China ones, so unfortunately I can't give it the five stars it deserves.

Not quite sure, they Were a gift, but since I have not had any complaints I am sure they were perfect. Hence the five star review.

Tried these (gun metal & polarized) @ sunglasses hut a week ago and they were amazing. I wanted to get them immediately, but they were pricey. So I searched on Amazon daily and read the reviews on Amazon and also on various sites. Finally, found a great price (55% cheaper) and decided to order them. Now there is a lot of discussion about where these are made - Italy vs China and the quality. After doing the research and looking at the product, I don't think there is any different at all as the same manifacturing company makes them whether made in Italy or China. The craftsmanship, materials, detail and quality are virtually the same. The ones that say: Made in China, are not necessarily fake. Even Rayban has stated that this model as are several of their other models made in China. The seller I got these from via Amazon sold me authentic Raybans. I am extremely pleased with these shades and am thinking of getting another pair as a back up. Good luck on your purchase.

his is the second time I have purchased original Ray-Ban sunglasses, and for the second time, the lens coating has failed prematurely. After just 60 days of normal use, the lenses are showing severe signs of crazing and delamination (peeling). You can clearly see the protective layer coming off at the edges and spots appearing in the center. For the price Ray-Ban charges, you expect durability, not a product that disintegrates in a few weeks. It is unacceptable to sell a premium product with such cheap manufacturing standards. I cannot recommend these to anyone.
