Super cute book, bought this as a gift for a friend. Sturdy cover, light pages, the illustrations and story is adorable and great for young children transitioning to big brother position.

The book is very well written & illistrated for toddlers to understand. The book makes the Big Brother feel very important & special. The book is so sweet & cute. A wonderful gift!

This is such a cute book! I have it to my grandson when he was about to become a big brother. He loved it. Great little story for preparing to become a big brother.

This book is excellent. It’s very simple and works if it’s for a big brother to either gender. There’s some great rhyming and my son likes to recite parts of the book — the sweetest beingToddler: “Mommy, Daddy, Baby, ME!”Me: “we love each other a…”Toddler: “Family!”It’ll be great when baby #2 comes too because we can read the book with a whole new context.

A good children’s book that helps an older child adjust to a new baby in the family by introducing them to the idea that they now have a new and important position in the family. I used a similar book with my children and avoided the jealousy and sibling rivalry that can occur. I coupled it with allowing the older child closely supervised holding of the baby, involving the older child in helping to care for the baby, giving the older child a small gift from the baby when the baby came home from the hospital, being sure the older child knows they will still have time with the parents, etc..

So cute. My son can't wait to read it to his future sibling.

Adorable book to gift.It did arrive a little warped.I places it under a few heavy books; I think it will be fine. Reason I gave it only four stars is because I believe books should be carefully packaged to ship, and not just tossed in a box with other items. In this case, simply shrink-wrapping it would have helped.

We got this book to read to our son before his new baby brother came and it was perfect. It’s very simple and to the point and paints being a big brother and being helpful so nicely. My son got very excited about his new role and how he could help with the new baby. I would absolutely recommend and would buy it again. The pictures are cute and the book is simple, perfect for my almost 3 year old.
