TubShroom Bathtub Hair Catcher Drain Protector Silicone Stainless Steel Standard

Had one of these for a while now and whilst it does prevent hair from going down the plughole, it also has a habit of getting clogged up with soap residue, which then prevents it from being able to drain the water, so 99% of the time I end up removing it anyway.

Great for shower trays.

The tub-shroom works fine and comes with a selection of rubber inserts to fit your plug hole. It does fit but not well and is easily knocked out whilst showering.

Beware of cheap clones, they are not as good.

I was skeptical but there was no need. This really works! Easy to pop into plug hole and remove. It catches all my hair that's shed whilst being washed and I can easily remove it afterwards and bin it without the worry that it's gone down the plug hole of the bath causing a blockage. The devise is then easy to rinse clean and leave to dry ready for next use. It's brilliant and I wish I had discovered it a lot sooner but hey ho, better later than never.

This looks like a good design but unfortunately does not stay put in the sink hole. It keeps popping out hence defeats its purpose. Bought a new less-fancy strainer and it works better.

As many have already said this is a great device but for others like me who's baths didnt come with a push down plug but the standard plug hole this sits on top.Now although it's far better than the rubbery star fish we had been using and does catch so much hair I'm starting to think I married a wookie so great device but just needs a partner for some other baths.
