Works just fine
I have to replace them every year or two. It operates the exhaust fan on the porch, during the winter, for smokers. It is used/activated 30 to 40 times a day(multiple people). When you do the math it is the average cycles for both, mechanical and digital timers like this. These are easy enough to swap in and out and the cold does not seem to bother it.

Works as stated
Timer works as stated. I wish the cover was not gray as it looks industrial inside a house when every other switch and wall plate is white. So aesthetically it looks more like it should be in he garage and not the interior of the house. Secondly if it is going into a Double switch box you can’t use the gray cover that comes with it so I had to drill a whole in a blank cover so the switch mechanism didn’t show. All in all it works for what I needed it for but not the prettiest thing.

Simple And Reliable Spring Operated Timer
This is a simple, spring operated timer. I have used one of these for years, and just bought one for use in another person's apartment. You can set it for any length of time up to one hour. They also have timers for shorter periods, such as 30 minutes. But the 60 minute timer is a better buy, in my opinion, since it gives you more options. For example, in my case I am using it to heat the shower water. Where I live water is heated by electricity and leaving the heater on all day is too expensive to even consider. For me, alone, 30 minutes would be plenty of time. But when I have visitors staying with me more time is needed. Thus even though most of the time the 30 minute timer would be fine, there are times it would not be. With the 60 minute timer I can set it for 30 minutes when alone and for a longer period when I have company.

OMG! Pays for itself every month!
I had these installed to control my water heaters. Previous boost switch (gray box) would inadvertently be left on by guests. Now they just turn the knob (like a spa controller), and they get as-needed hot water. (And I save hundreds a month on electricity on two water heaters)! Hawaii has the highest electric bills in the nation, and these are saving me a bundle!

Very well made, easy install.
Installed to control 240 volt in floor heater. Has been very good for this application and is not as noisy as I thought it would be. Almost silent in operation. Will buy again for another similar application in the home.

Frequently Sticks On
Very disappointed in this item. It regularly sticks in the ON position about 5% of the time. The spring inside just isn’t strong enough. When this happens late at night, the bathroom fan it is connected to runs all night long, sucking heat or air conditioning from the house and resulting in higher utility bills.
