This toaster is even classier in the metal than in the photos. The controls have a good feel in the hand when operating them, always a sign of good engineering. The movements are light and precise, not always the case with toasters! For such a good make and given its excellent looks, I thought it was very good value. Hopefully, it will be durable as well, although I haven't had it long enough to make a judgement.

Very smart and efficient. Toasts evenly. It’s annoying having to replace an item that has served well, but unfortunately after 18 years my toaster had to be replaced. I am pleased with this choice, I feel I did get a little more than just another toaster.

Good

Did a lot of research before buying and hoped this would last a few years. Worked well until it failed today after 14 months ofdaily use, couple of times a day. Right hand side of the toaster, which ironically is the least used now trips the electrics every time. Disappointing for such a usually trustworthy brand. Third toaster in as many years. The search continues 😕

I’m very disappointed with this toaster. I bought it to replace the one I have had for a few years because it wasn’t toasting the bread properly anymore so assumed the elements were worn out. I considered Bosch to be a reputable make but alas I was sadly disappointed. It only toasts the middle of the slice of bread. I have to keep turning the bread around and upside down to get it to brown evenly. Do Bosch not test their products? I may as well have bought a cheaper one. In this case I didn’t get what I paid for. Anyway, once bitten as they say!
