Q: does is have white lining in it?

I have the royal blue color. the lining is either royal blue or black. It hard to tell. Definiely not white.

Q: Are there any other color options?

I had several to choose from. Some where out of stock but I had no trouble choosing a color that I liked

Q: Why is this backpack not for kids under 12-13???? Is it just too large? My kid is 5ft tall, 107 lb.

My granddaughter is 70 lbs.. 12... and 4'10".. Fit her well

Q: Will it be too big for someone who is 4’11?

No. My 1st grader uses his and it isn’t a problem. Jansport backpacks last so you should be able to use it for more than a year. My 4th grader is on year 4 with his.
