Great value 4 money
In my case, it did the job without replacing the base & more cost-effective than other equivalent products from the market

Works - reasonably well made - I found it fiddly to fit. No cable guard supplied.
Seem a reasonable piece of kit - and works as required. It was (I felt) fiddly to fit (as inevitably up a ladder!).The item does not include a cable guard - although the housing is molded to accept one, and the accompanying leaflet mentions using one. I reused the guard from the unit I removed. The top unit of the sensor 'twists and lifts' off - it fits back in the reverse movement. Will only fit in one orientation. The top unit will only fit if the flat circular plate below it is correctly fitted back on two plastic lugs and the other two holes have screws fully tightened.Don't remove the central screw in the flat circular plate - it holds in the wiring terminal, and you can't wire up the terminal with the unit dismounted. The 3 screws at the bottom of the Wiring terminal - that hold in the bared ends of the mains cable - tighten up by screwing anticlockwise - Lord knows why!!As the leaflet suggests make a careful note of how the wiring went into the terminals on the unit you are updating. The terminal connectors are marked (L1, N and L0) in slightly raised letters in the black plastic on the base of the Wiring Terminal.

Great replacement for defective photocell.
At least 30% cheaper that the local DIY store and good quality. Fitting was easy and wired up the same as the unit it replaced. No cable gland for the bottom but I reused the old one. Works well.
