I bought these looking for an alternative for my Harbinger lifting grips which I lost, I had the harbinger for about 2 years and never had an issue with them, mostly used for heavy lifts as in dead-lifts and shrugs.Now the Cobra Grips, they do look amazing and more sophisticated than the harbingers, but I found the Velcro lace too long and distracting at times, and it required a lot of tightening to get the desired grip.Seems like the padded gel pad in the harbingers worked better for the heavier weights as well, and the lifting piece was a little bit longer than the cobras, which made it better for wrapping around the bar.TL;DR, Cobras do the job, but I'd get another Harbinger next time.
