It easily slides along the floor even with liquid in it, will only leak out of tiny airhole if accidentally tipped on to its side or if overfilled, worthwhile buying 2 if you can afford it. I've not long purchased 2 for my father who has had a stroke and can't use his right side and he copes with them easily, and I've got 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room.
