Worked for my need.
Worked for me. I needed something cheap and simple to insulate lines coming out from my outside central air conditioning unit to try to conserve cool air loss/heat and humidity impact( South Louisiana summertime). It seems to be sticking well. Definitely sticks well on itself.

Tears too easily,
I’ve installed 3 mini split heat pumps and bought this to insulated the ends of the lineset not covered by the foam insulation. Insulation quality seems good, but hard to work with. It’s thin and the adhesive is almost too sticky. Trying to wrap it around the lineset is a challenge. When you take off the backing, it sticks to everything, including fingers and such. And when it does so, it tears easily when trying to unstick it. I would prefer something that doesn’t tear so easily. I made it work, but it was a PITA.
