I think it depends. You buy boxing/training gloves by weight. Usually from 8 oz. (petite female or youth) up to 16 oz. I bought the 16s for working on the heavy bag. A great cardio workout.

Q: Are the oz associated with the actual inside size of the glove? Or are the internal dimensions all the same with just more padding as oz go up.
