Q: is it safe to use this comb with beard oils? I'd be afraid the wood would absorb the oil and swell over time

Given that most wood stains are oil-based, I don't think beard oil is much of a concern. That aside, the comb has been coated with a sanding sealer and I make sure that my beard isn't sopping wet when I run the comb through it. Hope this helps.

This is just a plain wooden comb. No noticeable scents or anything particularly fancy about it.
