Hellboy Omnibus Boxed Set

Great read from start to finish

Art is fantastic!Story is interesting!If you are a fan of Hellboy, worth getting.

Hellboy isn’t your normal superhero both in his character and his story because here you have a clear beginning middle and end and if you can just read these four volumes/Omnibus’ and feel satisfied. It all starts off a little slow and confusing but once you get through volume one and into volume two everything starts to make more sense and you get a feel for the world and it just gets better from there. Also, you don’t have to get all the other B.P.R.D volumes to understand Hellboy, but you will probably want to cause it’s that good. Highly recommend in this box set, the box itself is really good and you get all four volumes and at the time of me purchasing this, it’s cheaper than buying the volumes separately (£20 cheaper). The Hellboy short stories aren’t included in this set, although it should be, however those aren’t required reading to understand the story but I do highly recommend them if you are a fan of Hellboy because it just fleshes out the character more and humanises him.

Might be ok if you don’t intend to read much or read with upmost care but I found that the paper was wafer thin and would not have been good for the heavy handed person who I was buying for .

Disappointed with condition of box as this was a box set. Books are fine with one very minor damage to corner. Considering in plastic cover to protect surprised as this condition
