Q: isn't this supposed to be a spray? There was no spray pump in the box...

Mine came with a spray nozzle and hose attached and a little cap over it. So yes It says " mist" can't must without the spray pump

Yes each color has a different scent.

Q: What color is the shimmer in sugared orchid? It looks gold but the reviews look silver-y?

It does look gold... Nothing wrong with your eyesight!! It may be a combination of Both. Yet, appears to be silver when applied to the skin.
