Q: Can you use it to cover dining room chairs in a quite damp garage

It's massive.. you could probably cover the entire garage with it

Q: Will it hold water as making a home made pool thank you

Only used it for keeping things dry (rain proof), which it does well, but in my opinion it would be too thin to use to line a pool: i.e. it might puncture, and I can't really say if it will hold water as well as it stops rain.

Q: Would this hold water, so I can use it as a pond liner?

It is really thick but not sure it would be that resilient to contain water over a period of time.
