i've never seen this particular sock from Darned Tough in anything but single pair per package

Q: If I go hiking in these, should I wear liner socks with them or will they be fine by themselves?

I've been hiking in these socks in the Wisconsin parks - a mix of terrains - since late last fall, typically 1-2 times a week, about 10-15 miles. I've not felt any need to wear liner socks. I'm wearing mid-weight boot socks - haven't had the opportunity to wear the light weight socks, but suspect they'll perform equally as well.
