Thank you for asking. No you will not, as that part is removed to expose the adhesive. However, this product is not recommended for window use. The adhesive does not have the proper protection for UV Light from the sun or temperature resistance from the glass. Q: will this work to adhere fabric to a wall?

I think it might. What kind of fabric and what's the weight? I think it would a lightweight cotton, but not something like burlap. I could try to hang some when I get to work, just let me know what you're thinking about hanging.
