The main door is super secure, but I just found out the hard way that a basic cordless saw can cut the hinges of the drop door in less than 30 seconds, which allows someone to EASILY remove it and just reach in and take every bit of the contents with ease.It was a total of 45 seconds from start to finish with ZERO prying or effort to gain access, take everything and be on their way.

I bought this safe for my home and I am very satisfied with what I got. This safe is really tough, sturdy, secure and well built. I have not have an issue with it at all. I can say this you don't have to worry about someone using the reset button and resetting it I tried and it don't work without the keys and if for some freaky reason someone does they still need the keys to reset the code and open it so this isn't a real issue at all for me and if it bothers you disconnect the light so you or anyone else see's it at all. Me personally I go with the security of the safe and this bad boy is no joke when it comes to security. I like the idea that you have to use a laser cut key and code to get in so if any tries to get in with just a code it will not open and if you forget your code or the batteries die on you before you replace them you got a second key that is the emergency key that allows you to open the safe with both keys which is a really big deal to me. Then it has really thick vertical and horizontal locking bars for extra security and sturdiness. last but not least I love the drop box, I don’t need to open it up if I just need to slide some cash or checks or receipts into the safe. I just slip it right in. and in my opinion don't hesitate to buy this safe it's well worth it
