Huge light span, really lights up everything. I'll never use another flashlight again, they just don't compare, you will be blown away if you take my advice and try one for yourself, you as well, will never use a different flashlight again. I'm getting one for all my family members after having to use it for the first time when the lights went out, and never having tested it before, I turned it on for the first time and it lit up the whole room and wherever I pointed it, not just a targeted beam like most lights, probably due to the fact it's so wide where the LED's are and they're so bright everything gets lit up. And it's got 3 different brightness levels, strobe light, and an SOS flashing option with a regular USB connection to charge so no buying batteries anymore. You know what? I just talked myself into buying another one for myself and it's something I can totally justify, having 2 will be helpful, one set up in the front room which will illuminate the whole room and one in the back room positioned to illuminate the whole house with 2 of these badass flashlights. Thanks for making/designing this light, the expectations/the bar has been risen by this company and it's a huge improvement, can't wait to see what comes out that can outperform this thing. #Best Light Ever!It also has a zoom/focusing feature. This is my second order of two Tech light bill and Howell flashlights. For our purposes, living in the country where there are no street lights, they are a big plus for our household. Then beam, or amount of light they put out, is very bright and you can see a good ways off. You never have to rely on old batteries, or search for new ones, as they are rechargeable and always ready to go in the event of a power outage, or if you need to locate "varmints" or snakes outside in the dark. They last a long time on a charge.Why did I buy two more? Because my husband seems to " swipe " the ones I have in the house for whatever he may need them to do. I have had the first two for several years and they are always ready to go....the charge lasts a long time, but they do have an indicator of a "green light" at the charging point to let you know they are charged. For our purposes it is a great product.

I've seen the television ads for this (or a similar item) and was interested in this flashlight. There's a lot to recommend this item. The design of the flashlight is great, and it's easy to hold on to. It's lightweight, too. It's very bright and also easy to handle.I've had this flashlight for about eight months, and can say it holds a charge very well, but this touches on an area where we start getting into problems. It uses a computer (or phone) style cord and charging port, and it's an older design. It would be better if the charging port was of a more modern sort, so it would be easy to get a replacement cord. In addition, the cord supplied is very short. I'd love to tell you exactly just how short, but of course, because it's so small and doesn't store on (or in) the flashlight, it got lost right away. I did finally locate a surrogate cord and was able to recharge the flashlight.The other problem is that it it has five lighting modes. I noted that before I bought it, though that didn't sound so bad, but do you really need a 'strobe' setting and all this stuff? I don't, but I have to cycle through all five modes every single time I need to turn the flashlight off. This becomes annoying very quickly.While there are a couple of shortcomings, there's more here to like than dislike. In some ways, it's a 'near' perfect light built on a frame that is about the size of a traditional two "D" battery flashlight, but in many ways far superior to a traditional battery-powered flashlight.I hope the makers discard the cheesy, multi-flashing modes; just a simple on-and-off switch would be great. It also needs to have a modern port connection and longer cord for recharge. If it had those features, it would be just about perfect.

I’m 90. If it’s small and falls on the floor I can’t find it. If it’s black, it’s gone. I use this flashlight all the time. It’s nice and bright, doesn’t need charging very often and charges fast. Highly recommended.

it was a great flashlight ... until the power button fell off. This rendered it useless unless you carried a screwdriver to punch it on and off. i am in the process of returning it to Amazon...hopefully, will get a refund. I consider it quite inconvenient to have to return a broken item that really was not all that expensive. If I had wanted to bother going to a store, (had to go to a mailing place) after having to find a box and packaging material, I would have just gone to a store to buy the item instead of getting it from Amazon.
