Works as expected. Jumper cables are a bonus.

Using the standard SPI pinout for an Arduino Zero (pins 11,12,13, and 10 or 4 for chip select), I was unable to initialize a 16GB SD card (exFat) with any of the three. The SD card works on other card readers. The SPI arrangement with the Zero works with other SPI devices. I replaced the reader with a TF reader shield, and that worked as expected. Other users have been successful with these readers - I'm sure they work. Somehow.

I'm using this to build a configurable Greenhouse and Garden Ardunio project. It senses and logs weather, controls garden pumps, etc. The SD shield I was trying to use was too inflexible as to which connections I could use and interfered with my other connections. This one worked great.
