I think it would be fine but I suggest you let the oil paint dry firsts so u don’t smudge the paint with the varnish

It is designed for paintings ... but we bought it for ink jet printed labels on home-made wine bottles but it didn't work for us.

no. few weeks to a month is ok with regular oil paints.

Q: For varnishing wargaming miniatures would you use w&newton 'aritisian' matt varnish or 'artist's matt varnish' ? why would you use one over the other?
