If you like citrus smells, you will really like this. Doesn't last long, hence the 4 stars. Not particularly expensive so I don't mind the short lived smell.

This cologne is probably the oldest in the world, remembered smelling it as a child, when i recently saw it in a shop window i wanted to smell it again, unfortunatly i was away & the shop was closed, ordered it on amazon, 300ml for under £20, it smells as amazing as i remembered, light, refreshing & calming to the senses, love everything about it.

It's a cool, iconic fragrance.

I was first given a bottle of this when I was little by a German family friend and I love the fact that the label and the perfume are still absolutely the same. This is such a fabulously fresh, clean scent, anyone can use it, male, female, young, old. I take a small bottle of it whenever I travel as its great for a quick spritz to make you feel and smell fresher and less travel weary.

I couldn't believe it when I went to Boots the Chemist (biggest high street drugstore chain in the UK) and discovered they no longer stocked 4711! I've loved this delicate, fresh fragrance since the early '70s when my mother bought me a little bottle for my birthday - my first ever bottle of scent. I believe this is the original eau de Cologne ... the recipe going back to the 1700s. Well done, Amazon - you might be the new kid on the block when compared to the makers of 4711 and even Boots the Chemist, but at least you still stock the world's original and best eau de Cologne :)
