Q: what is the difference between love smoother vs love smoother protector?

From my use of each of these products I can say that the smoother protector is creamier and more “conditioning” whereas the smoother gives your hair a “coating” which seems to have more slip. I use both of them (along with the rest of this line) on my hair and have noticed that I can wear my curls down for much longer now than I could before. It’s not very often that I have to use a protective style between washes. I’ve also noticed with the overall line that I have very little breakage now so my hair is getting much fuller (it’s very long…almost to my butt now, LOL!!! ). If you need moisture, this line is GREAT! If you need lots of protein, I would recommend other lines before this one. My sister and I both have curly hair. Hers needs protein, mine moisture. She didn’t care for this line and I love it. Hope that helps a bit anyway!

Q: Has the bottle changed on this product--it used to have a pump?

No pump now, but you squeeze the product out of the cap at the top. It comes out easy. Great product!
