Heavy duty is a bit of a misnomer. I'd call him medium duty but they're nice.

These were a great buy! Very sturdy and definitely served they're purpose. We used them to hang glass shelves and they work perfectly.

These are thin cheap little brackets with spot welded attachment points. They are not heavy duty. These are fine for a light duty little shelf.. maybe a flower pot or 2... or maybe some books... but nothing too heavy. I was going to use them in a garage for 12" deep shelves that would hold paint, tools, and potentially heavy items that are moved on and off the shelf regularly. These aren't going to work for that. I could bend them with my hands and the welds look very light/weak to me. So they're going back... on my way to return them I'll go to a hardware store to get what I really need. Sometimes it doesn't pay off to try to save time or money via web ordering.
