Failed after 6 weeks
My customer purchased this and asked me to install it in their new solar system. I agreed. It Failed after six weeks. No customer support. Waste of money. One of the buttons just went into the controller. After disassembly, you can see the button itself was defective.

Great for the price, but controller manual is in German!
It’s a Great system, and really great for the price but the instruction manual for the solar charge controller is an German and does me no good. I could really use an instruction manual.

has tiny connection screws, and is quite expensive for a 20amp PWM controller
Connecting the solar, battery, and load wires is actually difficult because the access holes and screw heads are very small; difficult to torque properly with such small screws. The user manual that came with the TopSolar 'kit' had install instructions for the solar panels and brackets, but NO user programming manual for the charge controller parameters on how to set for different battery types and/or float voltages.
