Good filter
The water tastes great and I like that it goes through the filter before I drink it, the downside is that you really have to use a lot of strength to suck the water out

Hard to suck at first
Hard to suck up at first but soon loosens and quickly becomes a joy to use.

Great but you have to know how to hold it to get water!
Ok, so I did a lot of research on so many bottles before buying this. I almost returned it as I could literally not suck any water out of it. I couldn’t believe it. But then I watched their online video and the main thing is you don’t tilt the bottle up as you drink! As soon as I realised this I was able to drink from it. Yes, it takes a bit to get used to if you’re tilting a bottle upwards as you drink, but now I’m honestly glad I kept it. One star removed because I don’t think it’s clear that if you hold it upwards no water will flow out

Amazing!
Amazing bottle, took it to East Africa and made all the difference in places difficult to find safe drinking water!

Good concept
Not cheap but good. Easy to clean does not leak. The water tastes ok but the mouthpiece smells like rubber and is so hard to initially suck the water through, the mouthpiece could be smaller

Life changing
I have a complex gastric condition which, in short, means I can't have tap water. This bottle has changed my life. I use a water filter at home but ended up spending so much money on bottled water when out and then ended up in situations where I couldn't get any water. I carry this everywhere. It filters everything and the filter lasts a really long time. I also like the security of the bottle, I can clip it to my bag and the lid is secure. A further bonus is that it's a sucky straw so I find drinking from it enjoyable.

Works well
I found a problem going from low altitude to high altidude. Because of the non return valve (which allows air in to replace the water as you drink), when you go up in altitude and the outside air pressure falls, the pressure of the air inside the bottle forces the water up through the filter straw and out the top. When I visited the Andes and went to 4000mtrs, I found the contents of my knapsack soaked through.😕

Good idea, more info needed
Tap water is great where I live so I got this bottle for travel and camping/outdoor activities, to reduce the need for carrying water on hikes etc. There are several established brands for this type of product so when I looked at this Pure Clear bottle, I was unsure because I had not heard of it. When it comes to drinking water from potentially contaminated sources, as a customer I want complete trust and confidence in the manufacturer. The instructions leaflet which came with the bottle did not provide much information about the manufacturer, although it did have the website address. It was only by going on the manufacturer's website that I was reassured about the quality of the filter and it gave me confidence to use it (it's the UK's leading water filter bottle apparently!) . It also has other very useful info about replacement cartridges, sustainability etc, all information that is missing from the Amazon listing and the product packaging. I feel that in order to promote the product, more emphasis should be placed on making this information more accessible to customers to reassure them.As for the actual bottle, I found it straightforward to use and replace the filter. It's a decent size, 769ml, and it comes with a carabiner to hang it on bags/belts etc. Cleaning it is not super easy, but this is usually the case with most water bottles of this design anyway.
