Q: I just got 36n but my size said us instead of eu. was this a typo?

36N would be about a ladies size 5 narrow or a men's size 3 narrow in a US size...Birkenstock only makes their footwear in european sizes.

N=narrow and M=medium. I found good guidance re Birkenstock sizing on their website. It can be confusing, so that is a good source. Hope this helps.
