Awesome upgrade to my 2022 F150
This product was shipped and delivered very quickly. Was sealed by Roush. I watched a quick YouTube video and it was pretty easy if you have all the right tools and I'm not much of a mechanic. To remove the original air filter is pretty simple. Installing the new cold air intake was fairly easy. I have the 2022 F150 STX with a 3.5 liter twin turbo. There was no need to drill any holes for me like others have said. The unit just slid right over the existing grommet and everything lined up and went back perfectly. A couple small adjustments and tightened everything up nice and snug. For me it look 1 hour and 15 minutes but I took my time being I had a brand new truck and didn't wanna mess up anything, but overall was very pleased with the installation. The sound and differences. Inside the cab to any normal person you don't really hear any differences which is good it's not to loud or crazy. But for me I can definitely hear a tougher more deeper throatier sound when you just barely throttle. Then at full throttle or stepping on the gas you can hear a more increase sound in the turbo whistles. The more you get on it the more you hear it but it sounds really good. If your just cruising you don't hear much of a difference. The performance is better. Slightly less turbo lag off the line and more torque. Probably added 10 horsepower to each turbo. Stock was at 400 hrsp, now at 415-420 hrsp. I definitely noticed more torque when I was going 25-30 mph I floored it and noticed more boost than stock. I definitely did not buy this to race around my new truck, no, just more performance, efficiency , a tougher growl and turbo sound, it doesn't void the warranty, and you don't need to change out the filter for 100k miles. Just wash it and throw it back in. It's definitely the best bang for your buck to add a nice upgrade to your vehicle. I recommend for sure just do your research on your type of engine. I give it 5 stars.

Turbo is noticeably louder
Installed this on my 2018 F-150. The directions were quite discripted. it certainly gives a nice appearance under the hood.First ran it with the top cover, but then removed it. You can hear it sucking air now and the turbo is much louder, but that's what I was hopefull for. I notice a little performance in every day driving but really notice it when I switch to Sport mode. I have not been disappointed.Fuel mileage has increased a bit, but I haven't been able to test this a lot given we are still in some cold months per weather.Overall I am happy with the product and it has met all my expectations.

Adds a Roughness to its roar of power
My son helped me install the Roush's cold air intake system in my 2018 F-150 Limited. The installation was easy and pretty straight forward, even though I watch a couple of YouTube videos to make sure I understood the installation instructions. I made sure we got the clamps sizes situated for the air tube and rubber couplers. I appreciate the fact that this kit will not void my factory warranty, which was a major factor for me purchasing the intake system. After the installation my son was eager for a test drive to hear the additional induction noise and sound. I can admit that this kit does give-off a rougher sound in acceleration. As for performance, I've noticed about 2/10th increase in mpg and as for the getup & go, well, the twin turbo's on the V6 moves! Now that the COVID restricts are loosening up I will be able to do some travel at which time I'll be better able to detect any real difference in overall performance. This was a good purchase for me and I would recommend this kit for any old timer who still has the need for speed.

21 Powerboost no noticable power or mpg increase
Easy to install. Looks good. Slight turbo whine increase. Didn't notice power or mpg gains. Average about 20.5 was hoping to get closer to the 24 advertised. Still get 20.5. I do have a heavy foot though. Large gaps in box after all set up. Thought about siliconing it all but didn't. The bracket you have to print a template for didn't line up and was pointless anyway only holds a wire.

Noticable change
When added to an untuned F150 with the 3.5 ecoboost and a Corsa Sport catback, this intake had an immediate positive impact on throttle response, mileage (+1 MPG on average over the last 3K miles), and sound. Combined with the exhaust, the truck now behaves as it should have from the factory, with just enough intake sound audible with the cover on to know you're driving a turbo, but not so much that it is annoying. By far the best investment made on this vehicle so far- I'd buy it again!

Great kit. Easy install, looks good, better milage.
Excellent fit, excellent instructions, but do yourself a favor and pull up a YouTube video and follow along. Took me about a half an hour but I did need a drill bit in a size I didn't have. On my 2019 2.7L, I'm getting at least one more mpg. Never under 23mpg hwy, now and I averaged 28 over 250 miles. I can't say I've tested it under controlled conditions but certainly at least 1mpg. It looks great, too, but I can't really tell if the turbo sound is more pronounced unless I'm in 4WD Low.

No Performance Gain :(
I was disappointed with the overall performance gain and turbo noise gain. Overall I noticed ZERO change in engine performance and no change whatsoever on the increase in turbo noise. It sounds exactly the same as stock. I like that it's CARB Certified and CA Legal but it was definitely not worth the money. I will say the overall construction of the air intake is nice quality but performance was no change at all. I have a 2018 Ford F-150 2.7L Eco boost.

Great Bang for Buck
Easy installation and improved performance. Roush does a great job with online directions (to include the template you have to print) and youtube videos . All parts included and fit as designed. Large airbox has a very nice finished look with a clear cover. Noticeable feel, the Ecoboost enjoys the added air to make power. Average 1.5 MPG increase. Highly recommended modification for under $500.00 that does not require remapping.
