It’s a beautiful red velvet hood. Definitely better quality than you would buy in a commercial costume store. I would highly recommend for anyone excited with red riding hood or renaissance lore.

This cape is really cute, but just be aware that it is on the shorter side. It would be great for someone who is not very tall or a child/preteen. That being said, the extra ruffles and red velveteen fabric really elevate the look for a costume.
