New Replacement UTS Euroshaft Quartz Clock Movement (Shaft Length 11mm) (Minute Hand Fixing Nut Gold Closed)

Arrived before time and in good condition. We have a 'greyhound' decorative clock that we couldn't get a replacement for when the motor packed up, so on the off-chance we looked for a replacement motor the same make and type. Much to our surprise, we found it. It was a bit fiddly to fit as the motor kept jumping out of the clips but we managed to do it eventually and I suppose this was more the fault of the clock chassis than the motor. However, it all worked out fine in the end and is back on the wall and seems to work perfectly. I think the original motor lasted 5/6 years and I hope the replacement will last a bit longer.

Good delivery and I knew that these units are the best, one was to replace an old unit of the same type but the second unit to replace a different make that is substandard. Trouble is it should have ordered the hands as well as the fitting is a different diameter, I had to heat up the twin skinned carriage clock face to remove the old collar and install the new correct collar that came with my new unit. But now I am having payment problems in buying the new hands, not sure how to sort it out.

I needed a replacement Quartz clock movement, and this product works fine. I took the precaution of buying new hands so I choose the "Frequently bought together" recommendation. Unfortunately the hands did not fit so I contacted "Clock Spares Part" who very quickly replied having identified the problem. The " Frequently bought together" recommendation was not the correct item and according to CPS it is clearly misleading.
