I've been obsessed with this novel since I read the first one! It's funny and cute! I love how there's progress in Li Yu & Prince Jing's relationship. This might be my favorite danmei novel I've read so far!

I had no idea what to expect from this story when I ordered the first book in this two-book series, but based on the reviews that I’d read on social media… I knew the story was going to be interesting! And boy was it ever! I found myself smiling, giggling, or outright laughing several times during the course of these books. I highly recommend this book for some fun, non-serious reading!

I laughed aloud at Li Yu's attempts to be clever when his time ran out, thinking Prince Jing had no idea he was a fish who was really a human. The interactions between these two are amusing and well-crafted. The fact that both of them actually adore each other is at the root of much of the comedy as these two nitwits go past each other, Li Yu at the mercy of the System, Prince Jing at the restraints of his time and rank. I can hardly wait for Book 3, where I hope a happy ending awaits...and a lot of comedy, too.
