Very impressed, has a great feel, and seems to be better quality than stock. No issues with install, got both front and back. It does take some time for full install, a lot of small parts. Only complaint, the small round magnets. Very difficult to separate, it would have been nice is there was something between them to keep apart. One of mine went flying and took 30 mins to find.

This replacement feels almost like it’s from the manufacturer. The attention to detail on the inside even with transparent plastic pieces for the lights. (Top) It just worked and I was happy. I could even use stuff from the original.

Worked perfectly. Fit was spot on, and the color is exactly what I expected. The video on this has great step by step instructions and can be used to replace the face plate also. All tools were provided however I like my on tools because the ones you get are flimsy.

I want to give this shell kit 5 stars as the quality is very good and fitment is perfect. The only frustrating part was with the installation as the provided tools included a torx T4 but the actual size used for the back paddle PCBs is a T3, so I had to order a separate T3 screwdriver to finish the project, not before scratching my right side PCB trying to use the wrong tool. Other than the issue with the wrong size screwdriver I am very happy with the shell replacement.

My Xbox Elite 2 controller grip was coming off. Now, I just figured I would glue it back down once it became annoying. Well, it has risen to that level, however, something weird happened. The rubber part that’s peeling away has become stretched to the point that it doesn’t fit well even if I were to glue it down. With the excess material, it puckers!Well, I’m not a huge fan of the controller skins (putting something over the controller.) But, that’s not what this replacement part does. This shell case is a replacement for the bottom part of the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2.The video instructions are what makes this product.Pro tip: Have your own set of “T” screwdrivers on hand. The T6 screwdriver head was slightly too big. It would not fit into any of the screw heads. Thankfully, I had a set and the T6 worked great. But then, when I used my own T4 screwdriver, it was slightly too large and wouldn’t work. But the screwdriver that came with this kit worked great. Go figure. Just have an extra set of micro T screwdrivers handy, you may need them.I also used my own pry tools. The little orange pry tool provided just wasn’t sturdy enough. Everyone should have a set of pry tools (they are so helpful in so many different ways.)This product has given my controller new life!

Absolute worst product I have ever Broughten. Didn’t come with T4 screwdriver and I ended up messing my controller up and can’t use. Do not buy! You have to take this controller completely apart!

Great Product, Clear instructions the hardest part was removing the old controller case. The included tool kit is a great addition making assembly really easy. Be sure to follow the instructions regarding the magnet placement. Great value and an awesome look, the red grip pattern really makes it stand out. I'll be ordering another one for my son's controller
