Q: It's the body painted or powder coated? How durable is the color?

not sure if it is painted or powder coated, i can tell you that i bought 3 of these thermos, and i had them for over a month already, i bought 1 in red and 2 in black and so far the paint does not have a single scratch. I have taken them to the beach, bike ride, office, gym etc. and it looks fine. It does not leak like other people commented and it keeps the ice for over 8 hours. I only put water in it, not juice, smoothies or coffee because it is not that easy to clean the upper part. I bought both sizes 24oz and 40oz and so far the only down side is that the 40oz does not fit in the car cup holder., the 24oz does. Hope this helps.

Q: same quality as a hydro flask ? any difference and if yes what are they ? thanks

I have a cabinet shelf full of insulated stainless water bottles including hydro flask and a couple other premium name brands. This is better than my hydro flask for a few reasons. 1 =better lid. 2 =A better exterior texture as this model has a light texture which adds grip instead of smooth like the hydro. 3= the base has a shallow protective ring attached to the bottom so a drop on its bottom doesn't dent the actual insulated container. Its blended so you may not visually be able to tell its a separate piece. 4 = the base has a rubber non slip pad built into the bottom this prevents slips, sound, and condensation at the base contact point. 5 = much cheaper. For anyone interested this is the same bottle as the Avex, likely made by Avex and simply rebranded for Coleman

Q: Does 24 oz fit in car cup holder?

This 24 oz one fits in cup holder of my Chevy Cruze, but the 40 oz doesn’t. Just take a tape measure out to your car. This one is 3” wide.
