Sennheiser Epos Expand 20 Wired Conference Speakerphone Black, Silver (1000226)

It’s a great device. I extensively use it for making conference calls connecting to my mobile phone, and occasionally for listening to music through phone. Sound quality/clarity is awesome. Reasonable volume for a 100-150 sq. ft. space. Microphone is very good - I have never heard any complain from the other end, even when few of us are speaking at this end about 3-4 feet away from the device, sitting all around. Battery life is very good - initial charging lasts more that 15 calls of average half an hour each. Only thing missing is the Bluetooth connectivity. (It’s meant for connecting with the earphone jack to the phone). This good in a way, because you never have a pairing issue, Which sometimes bother you with Bluetooth connections.Overall, it serves my purpose very well and I love the device.

I initially purchased one because I am working from home and I was spending too much time on conference calls with a phone wedged between my ear and shoulder for hours every day, slowly turning myself into a quadriplegic with neck pain and headaches. I tried several of the cheaper units and promptly processed a return for all of them thanks to horrible audio, echo issues and crummy mic sound quality ("you sound like you're talking into a can"). I tried the computer audio and mic but it was so bad that no one could understand me and I couldn't understand half of the people who were talking either. I purchased this unit on a whim. I love my Sennheiser head phones and these speaker phones are equally good quality. Everyone is easy to understand, mute is clearly highlighted with red lights when it is on and no one has had to ask me to repeat myself since I started using it.Well, then my wife started working from home thanks to COVID and I let her use it for one of her meetings and we spent the next week handing it back-and-forth and scheduling time with it. The first meeting conflict hit and I'm sure you can guess who ended up with the phone back against their face again. So, now we both own one and we are both extremely happy with the purchase. It was very much worth paying double what the cheap units are going for.So far it has worked seamlessly with WebeX, Gotomeeting and zoom. You just need to remember that the meeting application isn't going to understand that you plugged this in, you will need to select the audio settings and choose the Sennheiser for the speaker and then the mic.I can wholeheartedly recommend this for purchase if you spend any time in online meetings.

Looking for a small, convenient speakerphone for the new at-home work. I tried it on my computer and it was OK. The sound was good coming out, but the mic was weak. I then switched it to my cell and the sound was actually a little bit better, but IT WON'T COME OFF MUTE. I looked on the Googles and sure enough, it's a problem that OFTEN happens with this unit with no real consistent solution. To make matters worse, the company made me pay the return shipping ($20)...save yourself and try another unit (and company).

Its still working fine from 2018.I am using this device for some important call and meetings from 2018 to till 2024 ending. Sound and voice is very very clear for income voice and outgoing voice.

I was hoping this would be sufficient to handle a room of about a dozen people in a conference call without people having to strain to listen or shout to be heard. It is adequate for this purpose, but just adequate. It's not like a 'real' conference phone in a corporate office. The speaker is small and it sounds small.It's not bad but not great. I would recommend it to someone that wants to use it for small conferences with people sitting around a a 4' round conference table. I wish there was a bigger version; like almost twice the size. It's about the size of a stack of 4 teacup saucers. It's small.Playing music through it is ok, nothing special at all. It sounds good for its intended purpose; conference calls. It just doesn't sound unexpectedly great.I like that it just plugs in and works with my iPhone 6. No bluetooth is a plus for me. You can easily mute/change volume and make calls from the buttons on the top. I bought my in 'used but great' condition here and the + button doesn't work like the - button for volume... it's missing the 'click' when you push it. A mild bummer. But it works.I wish this category of equipment was rated by size of call... (1-3, 4-8, 8-12, etc.) I'd say this one one is barely in the 4-8 category. And I think I need an 8-12. You can supposedly hook 2 of these together... so I may explore that.

It works, I just think it’s very expensive.The speaker Quality is good but not very loud. It’s good for the size though.

I've had mine plugged into my work laptop and powered up since I bought it in 2019. I just sits on my desk and works. Never have to plug/un-plug to reset it or anything like that.

Awesome clarity good amazing sound speaker clarity, connect to my iPhone to laptop, both devices work pretty good, nice volume adjusting 100% worthy product and price.
