Awesome and Very Well Made!
Box was torn up and parts were missing to connect to the machine. I called them and they sent the new parts right away for free and everything was very easy to assemble and it works fantastic. It’s a heavy duty piece of equipment.

Very good for strengthening lower back
I have been fighting lower back problems for last 5 years. I had to go to chiropractor every 2 to 3 weeks. At age 73 I do have some degenerative discs. I am a very active senior. I go elk hunting in the mountains annually so I have to stay in decent shape. I heard about this Dex II, read a bunch of reviews and ordered it. It’s heavy duty and has helped strengthened my lower back. I hang for 1+ minute then do 15 reverse sit ups, come up and rest 15 to 30 seconds then repeat. Sometimes I do it before bedtime. I haven’t been to chiropractor in 3 months annual back feels great. I have recommended this to a couple of friends that got one. They happy too.

This Machine Gave Me My Life Back
Over 3 years ago I rolled my ankle and lost my balance . . . the ankle healed but ever since the incident I was in excruciating pain from my hips to my toes on both sides unless I was on 3 Aleve which I couldn't take all the time because it would give me acid reflux. The pain would be gone after sleeping at night but would reappear in the AM and get progressively worse as the day wore on, exacerbated by sitting.I never found exactly what the issue was (my sciatic never being entrapped would be my best guess - followed by issues with my SI joint) I also thought at various times it was my piriformis, IT Band, etc. Again everything hurt: my hips, my butt, my hamstrings, my thighs, my shins, my calves, my arches, my toes so it must've been a combination of things.I initially tried a traditional inversion table but that didn't seem to help and I put off investing in this, not wanting to waste another $300+ but it got to the point I was almost suicidal dealing with the pain so I bought this with the Amazon card and did the 6 payments, no interest.Upon receiving the machine I got almost immediate relief but I kept messing around with the different settings for height and the leg support because I saw on here someone saying you should be hanging from your thighs and I was a bit confused about the proper positioning and my pain came back. Eventually I found the combo that works best for me so if at first you don't succeed, try different positions and don't have in your head that you must be positioned exactly like the photos.I'm not going to lie: after being in so much pain for so long and quitting smoking I gained A LOT of weight and using this machine hurts my lower abs because it mushes my fat when inverting and getting back upright can be difficult but for the pain relief I've experienced it is worth it.I get careless and stop using the machine from time to time and the pain comes roaring back so I do need to use it 2-3x a day to remain pain free. I want to kick myself for waiting so long to get this machine.

Well built but a bit painful on the stomach. Inversion beni’s are great though.
I am 6’2 female and I’ll be kind and say that I am ‘Statuesque’ in my figure...Lol. Ok, fine! I have a bit of a pooch belly, but I am working on it. Once I figured out how to adjust it to my height, per the instructions, it was easier to get into an inverted position, but trying to get back up to a standing position is a bit painful on the belly. It PINCHES. HARD. The thigh cushions are comfortable enough but your own body weight presses hard at that juncture when you are moving to stand back up. If you are a bit on the hefty side, like me, this HURTS. So I removed one star for that. However, the rest of the Dex II’s functions work like a charm, working exactly as I expected. Not gonna lie, if you are not in shape, using this thing for back bends is going to be difficult (mostly impossible) for you and it isn’t much of a trainer in that regard. You have to be in good physical shape. But I actually didn’t buy this for that. I have a separate bench that I use for those. I bought this mainly for the inversion benefit. I cannot use a inversion table due to an ankle and knee injury so bought this as an alternative. This thing is very sturdily built. I have no concern that I am going to fall off the thing while using it. I was also relieved that, unlike some other exercise equipment that I’ve bought in the past, this really CAN accommodate a tall giant like myself instead of saying it can but having the end result be...not really. It’s great for stretching my back, and I think that the lower handle bars are going to be very useful for push ups, dips, but especially for leg raise, arches, reverse crunches, flutter kicks, etc. I like having something to hold onto vs leaving my arms by my side for those. So I suppose it all comes down to what you want to buy this for. Do I regret buying it, no. But that pain in the belly is going to give me a hard time I think. A flaw in the design. I may try a moving this closer to a wall so when I try moving back to a stand, I can walk my hands up the wall or something to help relieve the pressure? Just a thought.

A much better option than traditional inversion machines
Pros:• Easy assembly• Strong / well thought out construction, good/comfortable materials• Easier to use than anklestrap full inversion tables so you'll use it more often• Handlebars in good places to get targeted relief and also dismount easier• May help where other inversion tables have not• Firm floor-grips• Core exercises possible with caution• 6'1" 190lb guy approved floor/head clearance with proper height settings• Doesn't have that "cheap equipment" visual aura thay plauges some devices like thisCons:• Will take up more dedicated space, big n heavy and not so mobile.• May be more difficult for shortstacks to mount/dismount as you need to lift your leg over a bar to engage.• Seat-Wobble-stabilization system specifically could use a little work in making the user feel more confident that things are set up correctlyThis is still very much a 5 star machine. The inversion is much nicer with the gravity applied this way than traditional inversion machines, allowing you to stay inverted longer. If you're on the fence go for it.
