Great quality, sounds amazing, looks amazing and feels amazing.
Upon opening the box, I knew I was in for a treat. I haven't had a mechanical keyboard since the 90s. This one popped out at me, simply because I've bought one of their products in the past, and the stylish looks harkening back to the NES. It's a beautiful keyboard, and the sound and feel are simply divine to both my ears and fingers. I'm writing this over inflated review just as an excuse to type on it.It was simply plug and play with both the USB connection, and the 2.4GHz USB stick. I haven't tried the Bluetooth connectivity, but I'd imagine it would would pretty easily given my experience with their receivers I've bought in the past.I really enjoy the idea of the super buttons. For now I use them for start/stop for recording. Works out great, and the fact that you can scroll through different configurations will surely serve me in the future. It is fun to press the giant red buttons.Everything about this keyboard feels premium. From the weight of the device, the feel of the keys and the sound and feel of the switches beneath them. Sure there's no back light, but do you really need the RGB porn?Without a doubt, hands down, an amazing product from 8BitDo.Keep up the good work.

Awesome appearance, types even better
The styling and colors of the keyboard is impeccable. The build quality feels very good, with absolutely no deck flex. The keyboard has some heft to it and doesn't move around on my desk at all. I've only used it on the USB cable so I have no opinion on the wireless function or battery life. The key action is AMAZING. It's just an absolute pleasure to type on. The weight and breakway point and click feel are perfect. Sound is minimal and won't annoy your cube neighbor. The keys are perfectly sculpted and feel great. I haven't even unboxed the big dual button thing yet so no comment on that either.Overall it's a superb value. It looks great, feels great, and gets comments from everyone who drops by my desk. My only complaint is they don't have a C64 version with a number pad yet! Get on that so I can buy another.

it's what you expect
It's a damn nice retro keyboard. Keys feel well and are nice and clacky. They've done the power light so it doesn't look like a modern LED. Can't speak to the wireless, but it works very well wired!

Quality and style!
Absolutely love this keyboard. First off the look is amazing, of course. The key feel is just wonderful, makes typing a joy. There's a clickiness to them, but it's not that super sharp click like a Cherry MX Blue. More muted and less noisy (the review complaining about how loud it is obviously doesn't have much experience with mechanical keyboards). And the build quality is fantastic, just oozes premium quality. The only thing that held me back from buying one of these before was that they previously only had the tenkeyless models, and I prefer the full 108 key style. Now with this model finally being available, it's easily my favorite keyboard ever.

Best keyboard I've ever used
Keys are so responsive. I play a lot of computer games and I've been using a cheap Logitech keyboard for a while. But I wanted to upgrade and my goodness what an upgrade! The haptic feedback from the keys being pressed is great to know exactly when the input is being sent to the computer. It looks fantastic with high quality design. I got the NES style keyboard and it looks just fantastic. The mappable big buttons are a great feature too! With even silly stickers for them was a nice inclusion. I also love that the dongle for 2.4 mode is able to be stored within the keyboards back for transportation or for Bluetooth connection. My favorite part is that it has a volume knob. Didn't even notice it when I purchased but to be able to just turn a dial for volume is so much better than the alternatives. I would give this thing more than 5 stars if I could. Can't recommend enough. It's pricey but absolutely worth the cost. Huge upgrade

Get used to the key switches
This is a pretty damn good keyboard, with a great sound to boot. The only issue is, if you’d like to change the sound of the switches, be prepared to pray to god for the inhuman strength required to pull said switches from their housings, as you will need it desperately. I busted a set of Quinns trying to test their sound on this keyboard and lost 2 switches in the process. Gnarly otherwise, good keyboard.

Looks awesome and functions even better
I bought the compact version before they had the 10-key, and I loved it. The lack of the 10 key pad was my only gripe at the time. Now that it's added, this keyboard is everything I've wanted. It looks awesome and obviously has the retro NES vibe, but it also feels great and has the right amount of feedback/noise. I'm not a mechanical keyboard switch snob, so I'll leave the specifics to the professionals, but it feels great for the typing I do all day for work.I've always used a programmable key or Windows+L to lock my computer, but they've added a dedicated lock button which was a nice touch. The programmable buttons are great if you need them. It feels sturdy and just looks sleek. I also like that the secondary big programmable buttons hook directly to the keyboard so it doesn't require the use of any other USB ports on your computer/dock.I'll switch between Bluetooth and USB to go between work computers, but most of my use is hardwired USB. But both work great, and the included 2.4g dongle is nice if you don't want clutter but also lack Bluetooth on your device. The "analog" style volume knob is also great.I'd say this is easily a 9.8/10. This would be absolute perfection, in my opinion, if it included USB ports on the keyboard for quick access to flash drives and other peripherals if you're like me and don't have your computer in a spot that is easily accessible.

I love it
This thing is a beauty. It's sturdy and a little bulky but it looks great, types smooth, and sounds great too.
