This fan is extremely quiet when on medium.
Perfect game as I ordered. I somehow received an extra 48” down rod. It’s super quiet and I love it!

Skip this fan, it's not what it advertises and has some serious flaws
The media could not be loaded. I just installed this fan but wished I had chosen a brand name fan. It looks good but there are some serious flaws that none of the other reviews seem to mention leading me to believe a received a fan that didn't go through quality control. Here is what I don't like about the fan.1. The fan is advertised as 8256.07 CFM which is important if you like airflow and the main reason I bought this fan. I wanted more breeze in the living room. This fan does not put out nearly close to that CFM number. This fan replaced an older fan that had around 3000 CFM and put out more airflow than this fan. Disappointing to say the least because I had it installed on a high ceiling that was expensive to install.2. The fan has a squeaking noise when turned up to it's highest setting (6). So now I can't turn the fan up to its highest setting.3. When I turn the wall light switch off, the fan does not turn back on with the light switch. The remote has to be used. This is a huge problem. If the cheap plastic remote breaks. There will be no way to operate the fan because the wall switch disengages the fan operation. The instructions state the remote has a memory feature where the fan recalls the last settings but that didn't work for me.4. The remote has a button to dim or increase the light intensity. These buttons don't do anything. The only thing that works on this fan is light on a light off. I don't know if it was an installation issue but I don't think so.5. The light cover is made out of plastic and is very cheap6. The fan beeps loudly when you turn it on. Haven't found a way to disable it. Annoying but not a deal breaker. If you want a fan purely for aesthetics, this is a good choice as it looks good and the fan blades can be reversed to black. But if you want a fan to really move some air in your house and doesn't squeak from the motor, this is not the fan you want. I'm concerned how long this fan will last for. Do yourself a favor and spend some more money to get a brand name fan and don't make the same mistake I did.
