Failed to work. Could not even get a Bluetooth to come up on my phone, Nothing on my car screen. I even tried to plug it in to charge only USB per the instructions to update the firmware but the wifi never showed up on my phone. White extension cables, Really!? This was not a deal breaker for me since I was going to use it with no extension cables but I don't think they would go well with too many car interiors. I mean if you make the white dongle option, that would make more sense for the few people that would go with that.. Returning for refund

This arrived the next day, and I’m not even in a city where Amazon next day delivery is fully a thing yet. It arrived exactly as pictured and as specified. It included USB-A and USB-C options. And then I dropped it and while trying to fish it out from under my car seat, I somehow pushed it through some kind of a hole, and now it lives in the undercarriage of my car. The end. Literally.

If you have an older carplay wireless dongle, now may be the time to buy. This model is very small. Not as short and stubby as some but it is small enough that when I plug it into my USB port, it is not going to cause a problem. It also negates the need for a joiner USB cable which in my experience have failed over time. This model is easy to setup: plug it in, connect to it using bluetooth, allow the pairing, OK the carplay on your car. After a while it will switch to wifi automatically and carplay will show up on your screen. Subsequent connects will be automatic and fast. This is much faster than my 2023 model carplay dongle. This unit also passes song track info to the infotainment properly unlike earlier carplay dongles I've used. Lag is very minimal and it is easy to navigate screen presses without a lot of lag. I don't use phone calls much so cannot test call quality and voice lag.Why this model? The specs are good. Supposedly has dual core (Cortex?) A7 processor, bluetooth 5.x, wifi 5G. More than that, the manual has the IP address for it that you can go to the settings page. Thankfully, it has background mode which, when turned on, will not show the ugly "connect" screen. You car screen will just go to carplay when it is ready. I also like this page to upgrade firmware if they determine there might be bugs to fix. This one says "latest firmware already." so nothing to do. It should be noted that all of these recommend NOT upgrading if it is working fine. Bottom line: This is a great unit and one that I can recommend.Update: on occasion I do get some disconnects and a few seconds later, it reconnects

I can't get it to hook up to my 2025 Honda CRV Sport. It hooks automatically for phone calls without the dongle but dongle will not show up for a wifi connection. I can't find a support number to call.A phone number would be fantastic. I'm likely missing something.
