Q: does this unit have a replaceable filter?

Hello Norm, This unit has what is called a pre-filter, that needs to be cleaned every so often by by wiping away debris from filter then rinsing with water and drying thoroughly. This model does not have a HEPA filtration system or other filter that would need to be changed. If you need to order a pre-filter it is part number XLP-94. Q: How long warranty is it

The Xlerator XL-BW ECO has a manufacturer's 5 year warranty.

Q: Do they sell a mounting plate this will mount to? I need to cover an old recessed hand dryer. The hole I need to cover is approximately 11" x 13"

Unfortunately a back plate is not available. The only option recommended by the manufacturer Excel would be to recess the hand dryer into the wall with the recess kit 40502.
