Q: Does anyone know how the Avalon XD is different from this unit? The XD and DX have different cable systems, I am wondering if worth the additonal $.?

I've looked at the company's site for direct comparison and it appears there are four items of difference: 1.) the cover material, 2.) the thickness of foam on the deck (Avalon is 2.75" thick/Harmony is 2.5" thick), 3.) the flexible/form fit memory cushion face rest on the Avalon, versus the standard version on the Harmony, and 4.) the type of end plates (which matters most for practitioners who need space to access clients).

Q: Is the upholstery 100% vegan?

I bought this table. It's really nice. I can't say for sure that it's 100% vegan but it is not leather. It's a very nice smooth faux type of leather. The normal kind you get on massage tables. I like that because you can clean it. The legs and sides are wood. There is some plastic for the face rest and the cables seem to be coated with some type of plastic. Hope that helps. I've been really happy with it.
